OVERVIEW:
Hot Folder Print is an easy-to-use printing utility that supports DNP’s line of Dye Sublimation Printers. In addition to basic printing, Users can apply custom borders and partial matte templates, set custom color settings, and import custom ICMs.

SUPPORTED PRINTERS AND FIRMWARE VERSIONS:
The following DNP printers are compatible with Windows Hot Folder Print:
* DS40 (Firmware 1.61 or later)
* DS80 (Firmware 1.30 or later)
* RX1HS (Firmware 1.40 or later)
* DS620/DS620A (Firmware 1.62 or later)
* DS820/DS820A (Firmware 1.07 or later)
* QW410 (Firmware 1.07 or later)
* DS820DX (Firmware 1.00 or later)

PARTIAL MATTE COMPATIBILITY
Partial Matte cannot be produced by all printer hardware. The following devices support partial matte: DS620/DS620A, DS820/DS820A, and QW410. In the event a partial matte is sent to a device that cannot produce this finish, the default print finish will be applied to the entire print surface. Instructions for creating partial matte templates are included in the Hot Folder Print User Manual.

CUSTOM BORDERS
Custom Borders are supported by all DNP printer models. The requirements for creating and importing custom borders are included in the Hot Folder Print User Manual.

SUPPORTED FILE TYPES
Hot Folder Print can import and print the following image formats:
* JPG/JPEG
* TIF/TIFF
* PNG
* BMP

INSTALLATION STEPS
1. Unzip the application to the desktop.
2. Double-click the Hot Folder Print executable (HotFolderPrint.exe) and navigate the onscreen prompts to complete the install process.
3. Load media into a DNP printer, power the device on, and connect it to the PC before starting the application.

UPDATING THE SOFTWARE
Hot Folder Print includes a link in Resources where a user can learn if a software update is available and initiate a download. 

DE-INSTALLATION STEPS.
1. Exit Windows Hot Folder Print if the application is running.
2. Navigate from the Windows menu to All Apps 
3. Scroll down and locate Hot Folder.
4. Select Uninstall.
5.Select Finish to complete the de-installation process.

END USER LICENSING AGREEMENT
DNP Imagingcomm America Corporation (“IAM”, the “Licensor”, “us”, “we” or “our”) owns and operates the Hot Folder Print (“HFP”) utility, which enables printing on IAM’s dye-sublimation photo printers, including without limitation any and all software and documentation provided by the Licensor in connection with HFP (collectively, the “Software”). The Software includes items available either by download, through a CD/DVD, or through a third-party software installation provider. This End User License Agreement (the “Agreement”) governs any use of the Software by you (hereinafter referred to as “You” or “Your”) and any other user of the Software, including any associated media, printed materials, and electric documentation as well as any related content, products, services, updates, revisions, additions or modifications created, provided in connection with, or incorporated into the Software from and after the effective date of this Agreement (collectively with the Software, the “Services”)for. 

This Agreement is effective as of September 8, 2023.

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: THIS AGREEMENT CONSTITUTES A LEGAL CONTRACT BETWEEN YOU AND IAM AS THE LICENSOR HEREUNDER, AND CONTAINS IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS ON REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES, CONDITIONS, REMEDIES, AND LIABILITIES THAT ARE APPLICABLE TO THE SERVICES. BY INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE, BY REGISTERING FOR AN ACCOUNT TO USE THIS SOFTWARE OR ANY RELATED SERVICES, BY CLICKING ANY BOX OR BUTTON INDICATING YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THIS AGREEMENT, OR BY OTHERWISE ACCESSING OR USING THE SOFTWARE OR ANY RELATED SERVICES, YOU REPRESENT AND WARRANT THAT YOU ARE EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT WITHOUT MODIFICATION. IF YOU ARE AN AGENT OR EMPLOYEE OF A COMPANY, ORGANIZATION OR OTHER ENTITY, YOU FURTHER REPRESENT AND WARRANT THAT: (1) YOU ARE AUTHORIZED TO ACCEPT THIS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF SUCH ENTITY AND MAY BIND SUCH ENTITY TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT; AND (2) SUCH ENTITY HAS FULL POWER AND AUTHORITY, CORPORATE OR OTHERWISE, TO ENTER INTO THIS AGREEMENT AND PERFORM ITS OBLIGATIONS HEREUNDER. THE SERVICES ARE NOT AVAILABLE TO PERSONS OR ENTITIES WHO ARE NOT LEGALLY ELIGIBLE TO BE BOUND BY THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT OR CANNOT AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT WITHOUT MODIFICATION, DO NOT DOWNLOAD OR USE THIS SOFTWARE OR ANY RELATED SERVICES. YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO USE ANY HFP SERVICES IF YOU ARE UNWILLING OR UNABLE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. YOUR RIGHTS TO USE THE SERVICES ARE FURTHER LIMITED BY APPLICABLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS.

This Agreement applies only to the Services identified above. Other software products, websites, applications, social media accounts, or other content or materials may have their own terms and conditions, which should be reviewed.

IAM may provide promotional offerings through the Services that will have special terms and conditions or rules. If any portion of this Agreement conflicts with the special terms or rules for any such promotional offering, the conflicting portion of the special terms or rules will govern for that specific portion of the offering unless stated otherwise.

IAM does not accept unsolicited content or ideas You may attempt to transmit to us directly. As such, we take no responsibility for such transmitted content or ideas. If You do send us unsolicited content or ideas, You agree that we may use such content and ideas in any way we wish without any compensation to You.

PURPOSE OF THE SERVICES
The intended purpose of the Services is to provide You with automation tools for connecting your computer to our printer hardware, which allow You to configure and print photos in a variety of output sizes and layouts with different features. The Services also may provide You with general information about our Software and other IAM offerings. 

Any content made available through the Services is provided for Your own informational or entertainment purposes only. You agree that You will only use the Services for their intended purposes, and not for other purposes without first seeking the express written approval of IAM. You may not use any content available through the Services to establish any independent data files, databases, compendiums, or any other reference material.

The use of or reliance on any information contained through the Services is done solely at Your own risk. Any content or offerings available through the Services are subject to availability. IAM will try its best to make the Services useful, but IAM does not warrant that any content or materials available through the Services will be accurate or reliable, and does not guarantee that reliance on any information or content available through the Services will be entirely without defect. 

LICENSE
The Licensor hereby grants You a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right and license to use one copy of the Software in object code only, and to access and use the Services, including but not limited to all content and materials which are provided on or through the Services such as graphics, text, documents, data, designs, buttons, names, marks, logos, images, video, audio, icons, domain names, as well as the color selection, assembly, and arrangement of content, or any other related materials or files in any media (collectively “IAM Content”), in a manner that is consistent with the other terms in this Agreement and the Services’ intended purposes.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS AND OWNERSHIP
Unless stated otherwise in this Agreement, IAM (or its licensors) owns all rights, title and interests in and to the Software and all IAM Content available through the Services, which are protected by domestic and international copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws. The license granted under this Agreement does not give You any title or ownership in the Software, IAM Content, or any other proprietary component of the Services, nor is it a sale of any rights to You. The only right granted to You is the right to use the Software and related Services in accordance with the terms of this Agreement. All rights not specifically granted to You under this Agreement are expressly reserved by the Licensor.

Any use of the Software or IAM Content that is not consistent with the intended purpose of the Services, including any modification, reproduction, republication, uploading, posting, transmission, reverse engineering, creation of derivative works, or distribution in any form or by any means without IAM’s prior written consent, is strictly prohibited. Notwithstanding the foregoing, You may make only a single copy of the Software as a backup solely for internal archiving purposes, provided that it includes all copyright, trademark and other proprietary notices as on the original. Such backup copy of the Software may not be in use at any time unless the original Software is damaged beyond use, and both the original and the copy must remain in Your possession and control.

You may not copy the Software, IAM Content, or any other proprietary component of the Services onto any public network. You may not, and You may not allow others to modify, disassemble, decompile, translate, reverse engineer, reproduce, make derivative works of or enhance the Software, IAM Content, or any other proprietary component of the Services. You may not, and You may not allow others to rent, lease, sell, sublicense, export or otherwise transfer the Software, IAM Content, or any other proprietary component of the Services to any other person. The use or posting of any IAM Content on any other website or in a networked computer environment for any purpose is strictly prohibited.

In addition to any other rights it may have, the Licensor may terminate this Agreement if You fail to comply with the terms and conditions hereof. In such event, You must cease all use of the Services and destroy all copies of the Software and all of its component parts.

At the Licensor’s sole discretion, the Licensor may from time to time provide You with updates to the Software. Any such updates shall become part of the Software licensed to You hereunder and subject to all of the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

IAM Content protected by this Agreement includes, without limitation, certain third-party copyrighted designs, templates, images and other content made available on or through the Services under a license granted to IAM. You acknowledge that You have no rights in such third-party IAM Content. Unauthorized use of any IAM Content may result in violations of copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property rights or protections available under applicable law. 

You acknowledge that You have no right, title, or interest in or to the Services or any IAM Content, and that no rights, title or interests in any IAM Content, the Software, or other proprietary components of the Services are transferred to You as a result of You accessing, downloading or copying anything through the Services. All Software used in connection with the Services is the sole property of IAM or its third-party suppliers or licensors.

HOT FOLDER PRINT is a trademark owned by IAM. In addition, other trademarks, product names, graphics, logos, page headers, button icons, scripts, and service names included in or made available through the Services are trademarks or trade dress of IAM, or they may be the property of their respective owners.

There may be other content available on or through the Services which is not owned by IAM, and You should respect those property rights as well. 

PROHIBITED USES
In connection with Your access to and/or use of the Services, You agree not to:
* Violate any federal, state, or local laws or regulations;
* Discuss, incite, or promote illegal activity; 
* Upload or post anything that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large strain on IAM’s network or computer infrastructure;
* Upload or post any inappropriate or offensive content or language;
* Use any automated technology such as a robot, spider, or scraper to access, scrape, or data mine the Services;
* Engage in any behavior that attempts to hack into or gain unauthorized access to protected areas of the Services or our computers, servers or networks, or to any computers or systems used by other users of the Services;
* Use the Services in a manner that could destroy, damage, or impair any portion of the Services or any computers, systems, hardware, or software used by IAM or other users of the Services;
* Make unauthorized attempts to modify any information stored through the Services;
* Make attempts to defeat or circumvent security features, or to use the Services for any purpose other than their intended purposes;
* Upload or post any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional materials, spam emails, chain letters or communications, pyramid schemes, or any other form of such solicitations;
* Provide false or misleading information through the Services; and/or
* Use the Services to send spam or unsolicited bulk email.

The previous list of prohibitions is not exclusive. IAM reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to restrict, suspend, or terminate this Agreement, Your account, and/or Your access to all or any part of the Services without prior notice or liability in response to Your breach of any term in this Agreement. IAM reserves the right to change, suspend, or discontinue all or any part of the Services at any time without prior notice or liability in the event of any apparent violation of the terms in this Agreement.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE LICENSOR, ITS AFFILIATES, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, REPRESENTATIVES, ATTORNEYS, BUSINESS PARTNERS, CONTRACTORS, AND ANY OTHER PARTY INVOLVED IN THE CREATION, PRODUCTION, TRANSMISSION OR PROVISION OF THE SERVICES (COLLECTIVELY, THE “DISCLAIMING PARTIES”) MAKE NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS, OR ENDORSEMENTS ABOUT THE SOFTWARE, IAM CONTENT OR ANY RELATED SERVICES. THE DISCLAIMING PARTIES EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES RELATED TO THE SOFTWARE, IAM CONTENT, OR THE SERVICES PROVIDED UNDER THIS AGREEMENT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY WARRANTIES OF APPROPRIATENESS, RELIABILITY, OR TIMELINESS. THE SOFTWARE, IAM CONTENT, AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, COURSE OF DEALING AND USAGE OF TRADE. YOU AGREE THAT YOU ASSUME THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE SOFTWARE, IAM CONTENT, AND ANY RELATED SERVICES.

THE DISCLAIMING PARTIES DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE AND ANY RELATED SERVICES WILL OPERATE ERROR-FREE OR THAT THE SERVICES ARE FREE OF COMPUTER VIRUSES OR SIMILAR DESTRUCTIVE FEATURES. THE DISCLAIMING PARTIES DO NOT WARRANT THAT IAM CONTENT, THE SOFTWARE, OR ANY RELATED SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR SECURE. IF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES RESULTS IN THE NEED FOR SERVICING OR REPLACING EQUIPMENT OR DATA, THE DISCLAIMING PARTIES SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THOSE SERVICING OR REPLACEMENT COSTS.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ANY OF THE DISCLAIMING PARTIES BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY OTHER USER OF THE SERVICES FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, SALES OR DATA, FOR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF GOODWILL, PAIN AND SUFFERING, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, OR OTHER SIMILAR INTANGIBLE DAMAGES) ARISING OUT OF ANY MATTER RELATED TO THIS AGREEMENT, THE SOFTWARE, IAM CONTENT, OR ANY RELATED SERVICES, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF THE APPLICABLE DISCLAIMING PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN ANY EVENT, THE DISCLAIMING PARTIES’ TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU OR ANY OTHER USER OF THE SERVICES FOR DIRECT DAMAGES OR OTHER LOSSES ARISING OUT OF ANY MATTER RELATED TO THIS AGREEMENT, SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100.00 USD OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO THE DISCLAIMING PARTIES FOR THE APPLICABLE SERVICES OUT OF WHICH THE LIABILITY AROSE, REGARDLESS OF THE TYPE OF ACTION WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE. 

BECAUSE SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW FOR THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS, THE LIABILITY OF THE DISCLAIMING PARTIES TO ANY USER OF THE SERVICES SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE GREATEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the Disclaiming Parties harmless from and against any and all claims, demands, losses, costs, damages, liabilities, judgments, awards and expenses (including attorneys’ fees, costs of defense, and direct, indirect, punitive, special, individual, consequential, or exemplary damages) that any of the Disclaiming Parties suffer in relation to, arising from, or for the purpose of avoiding, any claim or demand from a third party that relates to Your use of the Services, Your breach of this Agreement, the use of the Services by any person using Your computer, device, or account, if applicable, and/or Your violation of any applicable law or regulation. Your indemnification obligations shall survive the termination of this Agreement.

LINKS TO THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Software, IAM Content, and certain Services may contain links to external third-party software, websites, applications, social media accounts, or other content or materials that are not controlled by or affiliated with IAM (collectively, “Third-Party Services”). If You use these links, You will leave our Services. IAM provides these links to You only as a convenience. IAM is not in any way responsible for Third-Party Services or the content, products or other offerings made available through them, including without limitation, any links displayed on or through such Third-Party Services. IAM does not warrant that such Third-Party Services or any information available through them are current, accurate, reliable or error-free. You access and use any linked Third-Party Services at Your own risk. The links are not meant to indicate any association with IAM, and IAM does not endorse any linked Third-Party Services, or any product or other offering made available through such Third-Party Services. If You access or use any Third-Party Services, You will be subject to the terms of use, privacy policy, and other agreements, terms or policies applicable to those Third-Party Services. You should review the privacy policies and terms of use of any Third-Party Services before using them.

IAM also may allow interaction between our Services and external Third-Party Services such as Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, YouTube, and other social media platforms or sharing services. This may include “Like” or “Share” buttons or other interactions through plugins on the Services that, when used, may allow You to share content from the Services with other persons on or through the relevant Third-Party Services or elsewhere. If You use any of the social media links or buttons available through the Services, IAM is not responsible for any harm to You as a result of using one of the interaction functions provided by these Third-Party Services and social media platforms.

GEOGRAPHIC LIMITATION
If You use the Services outside the United States, You are responsible for following Your applicable local laws and determining, among other things, whether Your use of the Services violates any local laws. Whether inside or outside of the United States, You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with the laws of Your specific jurisdiction. By using the Services, You agree and acknowledge that information about You, including personally identifiable information, may be transmitted to, processed in, and stored in the United States.

GOVERNING LAW
By using the Software or any related Services, You agree that this Agreement and any dispute that may arise out of or relate to this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina without regard to conflict of laws principles. 

YOU AND THE LICENSOR HEREBY IRREVOCABLY AND UNCONDITIONALLY CONSENT to the exclusive venue and jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina for any litigation arising out of or related to this Agreement, Your use of our Services, and/or any goods referenced or offerings provided on or through the Services.

YOU HEREBY IRREVOCABLY AND UNCONDITIONALLY AGREE: (1) to waive any objection to the venue of any such litigation in North Carolina courts; and (2) not to plead or claim in any North Carolina court that such litigation has been brought in an inconvenient forum.

TAXES
You are responsible for all taxes or charges imposed by any government or regulatory authority with respect to the delivery and use of the Software or any related Services, but exclusive of any taxes based upon the Licensor’s net income.

TERM
This Agreement is effective until terminated. You may terminate this Agreement by ceasing to use the Software, its related Services and, if applicable, returning the Software to the Licensor. Licensor may terminate this Agreement if You breach any of its terms and conditions. Upon termination or expiration of this Agreement for any reason, You shall cease using the Software and any related Services and, if applicable, return the Software to the Licensor. All provisions of this Agreement relating to disclaimers of warranties, limitations of liability, remedies or damages, Your indemnification obligations and representations and warranties, Licensor’s proprietary rights, and any other relevant language that is meant to remain in effect after this Agreement ends shall survive the termination or expiration of this Agreement.

Our organization’s goal is to provide the best applications and utilities possible. So that we can keep improving our Software and other Services to better serve You, we collect information regarding software diagnostics and basic system level information including:

CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT AND SEVERABILITY
IAM reserves the right to make changes to the Software, IAM Content, any related Services and this Agreement at any time. Each time You use the Services, You should visit and review the then-current version of this Agreement. By continuing to use the Services after any changes to this Agreement are made, You agree to be bound by the Agreement as amended. 

IF YOU ARE DISSATISFIED WITH THE SERVICES, IAM CONTENT, OR THIS AGREEMENT, YOU AGREE THAT YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY IS TO DISCONTINUE USE OF THE SERVICES.

If any provision of this Agreement is declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid for any reason, such invalidity shall not affect the remaining provisions hereof.

ACCESSIBILITY
IAM is working to maintain the accessibility and usability of the Software and its related online Services. It is important to note that accessibility efforts for the Services are ongoing as we work to implement improvements consistent with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines over time.

OTHER PROVISIONS
IAM is not responsible for any harm or damages of any kind that may occur to You due to any glitches, hacks, breaches, or any other unauthorized access to IAM’s computer or network systems that may or may not result in the disclosure of personally identifiable information You provided to us.

IAM’s failure to enforce any portion of this Agreement is not a waiver of such portion.

IAM reserves the right, without notice or reason, to take down or terminate the Services, or to otherwise revoke any and all access granted to You in relation to the Services. You agree that IAM is not liable to You or any other third party for this action.

The Software and certain other elements of the Services may be subject to U.S. export laws and controls. No software may be downloaded or exported to any country or foreign citizen that is under a U.S. embargo or that would otherwise violate U.S. law or regulations.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT
You acknowledge that this Agreement, together with any other terms and conditions or policies that appear elsewhere on or through the Services, is the complete and exclusive statement of the agreement between You and Licensor, and supersedes any proposal or prior agreement, oral or written, and any other communications between You and Licensor relating to the Software or Services addressed in this Agreement.
